Our Products

At EWS, we take waste materials and transform them into valuable, marketable products that contribute to a sustainable future. Using our Advanced Thermolysis System (ATS), we convert diverse waste streams—such as plastics, biomass, and municipal solid waste—into high-value commodities like biochar, bio-coal, carbon black, and renewable natural gas.

Why Choose EWS Products?

At Emergent Waste Solutions, we are committed to offering high-quality, sustainable products that contribute to both environmental and economic well-being. Our Advanced Thermolysis System (ATS) ensures that every product is crafted with minimal environmental impact and maximum efficiency. By choosing EWS products, customers can reduce their carbon footprint, support renewable energy initiatives, and promote a circular economy where waste is transformed into valuable resources. Whether for energy, agriculture, or industrial applications, our products provide innovative solutions that align with a greener future.

Emergent Waste Solutions (EWS) utilises its Advanced Thermolysis System (ATS) to convert waste materials into a diverse range of valuable products, each designed to contribute to sustainability and economic value. Below is an overview of our key products:

Biochar

A solid material derived from carbon-based biomass, biochar is a pure form of charcoal known for its porous structure. Biochar has numerous uses, including improving soil health, water filtration, and carbon sequestration, making it an ideal solution for agricultural and environmental applications.

Carbon Black

Carbon black is recaptured and purified from waste rubber tires through our ATS technology. It is used primarily as a reinforcement agent in the production of rubber tires. Additionally, it serves as a pigment and additive in plastics, paints, and ink, adding strength and stability to these products.

Green Diesel

When waste tires or plastics are processed using ATS, a dark-colored light diesel, known as green diesel, is produced. This renewable fuel can be blended with conventional diesel and is suitable for use in diesel generators and off-road machinery, reducing reliance on traditional fossil fuels.

Bio-Oil

Produced when biomass is processed through ATS technology, bio-oil is a relatively pure form of oil with less moisture compared to traditional methods. It serves as a renewable and sustainable alternative to fossil fuels, with applications in energy generation and as a feedstock for chemical production.

Bio-Coal

Bio-coal is a biomass fuel produced to replace thermal coal used in electricity generation. It can also serve as an alternative to coking coal in steel and other metallurgical industries. Thermal power plants can use bio-coal without significant modifications, making it a practical and environmentally friendly substitute.

Applications and Benefits

Our range of products derived from waste materials has diverse applications across several industries, each offering significant benefits:

Agriculture:

Products like biochar and biochar grow medium blends enhance soil health, improve nutrient retention, and promote plant growth, leading to better agricultural yields.

Energy Sector:

Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), Green Methanol, Bio-Oil, and Green Diesel serve as clean and renewable energy alternatives, helping to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and lower greenhouse gas emissions.

Manufacturing:

Carbon black is used in rubber production, plastics, and paints, providing strength and stability. Bio-coal offers a sustainable substitute for coking coal in steel production and thermal coal in power generation.

Environmental Impact:

All of our products contribute to a reduced carbon footprint by repurposing waste materials and preventing them from ending up in landfills or being incinerated, thus promoting a circular economy.
