All biomass, when processed with the ATS plant, creates a viscous oil that can be captured and used as-is, or further refined to create a higher value product. Approximately 30% of the biomass is converted to bio-oil. The product generated by ATS has less moisture than that of competing pyrolysis technologies and is a purer product than that created with other methodologies. This product has a relatively low market value.
