Kevin Hull, BBA, CEO, Director

Kevin, founder of Emergent Waste Solutions, brings extensive experience in mining, environmental technologies, sales roles in IT and marketing expertise. Before founding EWS, he was active in capital markets. He was instrumental in securing $20 MM USD from a state-owned Chinese enterprise into a Canadian junior resource company on the TSXV. Previously he consulted companies and developed marketing strategies and content. Along with his extensive sales training, Kevin holds a degree in Business Administration.

Brian Gusko, Director

With over 15 years of experience in capital markets, Brian has helped raise over $50 MM for various firms. He has served on the Board of at least 10 public companies and served as CEO and CFO for several public companies.

The last company he took public became Biome Grow Inc, which upon listing was valued at over $200 MM

Dan Becher, Director

Dan graduated with a diploma in Instrumentation & control systems from British Columbia Institute of Technology. He has worked in industrial chemical plants for 37 years in varied capacities of engineering design & maintenance of both process control & electrical systems. His experience beings practical value to EWS in plant operations, maintenance & design enhancements.

Dudley Delapenha, Director

Dudley is a graduate of the Field Sales Management Institute of New York as well as a Graduate School of Sales Management and Marketing at Syracuse University, New York USA. He has significant international experience working senior marketing roles at Heineken Lager Beer, and Desnoes & Geddes “Red Stripe Brewery”. He also was Regional Manager for Canada Dry and Marketing director for Avani Water. For the past six years he has served as an officer and board member for various private companies.

Serge Borys, B.COMM. LLB, Director

Serge obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and his law degree from the University of Alberta. Since 2005 Serge has been a principal in 77 Group Corp., a US corporation having substantial real estate holdings in China.

Serge has a comprehensive understanding of the technology and the patent process.

Alicia Passmore, VP of Manufacturing

Ms. Passmore has extensive training and experience in setting up and working with manufacturing processes, and specifically with implementing LEAN manufacturing techniques. She has extensive training and experience in the vitamin and supplement industry, which includes the formulation of new products. She looks forward to applying her experience in formulating nutritional and body care products, to the development of products which incorporate biochar.

Benjamin Ryder, Chief Operations Officer COO

Benjamin has worked in administration and project management for much of his 23-year career. He received project management training at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and subsequently employed at Bridgewater Bank where he was a key figure in the development of the credit card division. His other projects include developing large web application and show homes for major property developments. He is excited to apply his experience in sales, customer service and inventory management towards assisting EWS as it enters into its growth stage.

Rhonda Hyslop, Engineer

A chemical engineer, Rhonda's has primarily worked in industrial wastewater treatment where her passion for the environment was expressed. Her responsibilities have included facility design to commercial scale up.

Additionally, Rhonda will be working on new product development at EWS. She owns two patents and has worked on lab-scale up to pilot scale commercialization projects.
